A lush, mat-forming groundcover with soft, kidney-shaped leaves. Perfect for between pavers, under trees, or as a living lawn alternative in shady areas. It stays low and dense and is ideal for cooler or damp positions where traditional grass struggles.
A hardy, low-growing groundcover that becomes waterwise and frost-tolerant once established. In summer, it needs similar watering to a regular lawn, but it’s best to let the soil dry out a little in spring and autumn. It naturally reseeds in early summer, some leaves may yellow as they protect the seeds. Although it doesn’t need mowing, the foliage can initially grow up to 10 cm before settling into a dense, tidy carpet. For lush, green coverage, feed once or twice a year with a low-nitrogen fertiliser.
