A compact, low-growing Australian native with soft, silvery foliage and bright yellow pompom flowers in spring. Cotton Heads are ideal for rockeries, borders, or mass planting, adding texture and colour to dry, sunny spots. Drought-tolerant and low-maintenance once established, this tough groundcover thrives in sandy or well-drained soils
Winter through to Summer
A hardy, low-maintenance native that thrives in full sun and well-drained soils with medium to poor fertility. It’s tolerant of wind, drought, and light to moderate frost, making it suitable for most climates except tropical regions. While drought-tolerant, prolonged dry periods can reduce flowering, so water well until established and during hot summer months. For best results, fertilise with a low-phosphorus native fertiliser.
