A late-maturing cherry with large, dark red to mahogany fruit and bright red, firm, juicy flesh. Known for its excellent growth and heavy crops, it’s ideal for fresh eating, jams, and preserves. Requires high chill hours to produce reliable flowers and fruit.
Self-Fertile
Water regularly in summer, especially during hot, dry periods and while fruit is setting. Avoid wetting fruit and foliage. Prune in late winter to remove old fruiting wood and keep the tree compact. Fertilise in spring and autumn with a complete feed, and mulch well after planting
