A large, sweet-flavoured cherry with red to dark red fruit. This self-pollinating variety produces moderate crops of good-sized cherries, maturing around mid-December. Ideal for eating fresh, preserving, or making jam. Vigorous in growth and well suited to small or medium home orchards. Requires high chill hours to fruit reliably.
Self-Fertile
Water regularly in summer, especially during hot, dry periods and while fruit is setting. Avoid wetting fruit and foliage. Prune in late winter to remove old fruiting wood and keep the tree compact. Fertilise in spring and autumn with a complete feed, and mulch well after planting
