A specially selected, grafted chestnut variety producing large brown nuts with a distinctive stripe. Renowned for their excellent quality, the nuts are ideal for roasting and cooking. This tree also has great ornamental appeal featuring a broad canopy of large leaves that turn golden in autumn and displays fragrant spring flowers that attract bees.
Any other chestnut varities
Chestnuts prefer drier conditions, so avoid heavy mulching and rely mostly on natural rainfall. Apply a slow-release fertiliser at the start of spring to support healthy growth.
