The white chalice-shaped blooms have a subtle pinkish hue, with incurved petals that create a stunning interplay of light and shadow. The strong Old Rose fragrance carries hints of almond blossom, cucumber, and lemon zest
Plant in full sun in well-drained soil. Water newly planted roses daily during their first season. Once established (after a year), two deep soaks per week during warm weather will keep them thriving. Apply a soil wetter in spring and again in mid-summer to improve water penetration. Feed every four weeks from late April to early May with a quality rose fertiliser. Prune in winter to encourage healthy new growth, and follow with a lime sulphur spray to help prevent fungal disease. Apply mulch to retain moisture, keeping it clear of the base of the plant.
