Large, double blooms in creamy white are richly flushed and edged with carmine red, creating a striking two-tone effect. With a high-centred form and strong, sweet fragrance, this rose is a favourite among gardeners and florists alike. It grows on a vigorous, medium-sized bush with long, sturdy stems admired for both its beauty and scent.
Plant in full sun in well-drained soil. Water newly planted roses daily during their first season. Once established (after a year), two deep soaks per week during warm weather will keep them thriving. Apply a soil wetter in spring and again in mid-summer to improve water penetration. Feed every four weeks from late April to early May with a quality rose fertiliser. Prune in winter to encourage healthy new growth, and follow with a lime sulphur spray to help prevent fungal disease. Apply mulch to retain moisture, keeping it clear of the base of the plant.
