Delicate apricot buds unfurl into peachy-apricot blooms, gradually developing a richly double, softly ruffled form with old-world charm. A gentle tea rose fragrance lingers in the air, adding to its classic appeal. This healthy, disease-resistant bush delivers reliable flowering and makes a graceful addition to any garden.
Plant in full sun in well-drained soil. Water newly planted roses daily during their first season. Once established (after a year), two deep soaks per week during warm weather will keep them thriving. Apply a soil wetter in spring and again in mid-summer to improve water penetration. Feed every four weeks from late April to early May with a quality rose fertiliser. Prune in winter to encourage healthy new growth, and follow with a lime sulphur spray to help prevent fungal disease. Apply mulch to retain moisture, keeping it clear of the base of the plant.
