A widely grown and much-loved pear variety, this tree produces medium to large fruit with distinctive russeted skin and sweet, creamy yellowish-white flesh. Excellent for eating fresh, drying, preserving, or cooking. It’s a consistent, heavy bearer with strong keeping qualities and rich flavour. Maturing mid-season, the deciduous tree has an upright, spreading habit and suits backyards, large pots, or training as an espalier along a fence or wire.
