A classic late-season pear, ideal for eating fresh, drying, preserving or juicing. Medium in size with green-yellow skin and a rounded shape. The flesh is juicy and sweet with a delicate flavour. Ripens from late March to early April and stores well.
Packham’s Triumph
Plant in full sun or light shade. Tolerates clay soils but prefers well-drained, fertile ground. Mulch to retain moisture. Fertilise in spring. Prune in winter to shape young trees; mature trees need minimal pruning. Begins fruiting after 3–5 years
