Agapanthus Sugar Plum is a compact, tidy variety with lush green foliage and rich purple flower heads that bloom mainly in spring and continue sporadically through the warmer months. It’s drought and frost tolerant, has good disease resistance, and is perfect for borders, pots, and garden beds. Low-maintenance and reliable in well-draining soil
Spring/Summer
Low maintenance and drought-tolerant once established, needing water only during dry spells or early growth. Fertilising isn’t usually necessary, but a complete fertiliser in late Winter or Spring can give them a boost. Remove spent flowers to prevent self-seeding and trim yellowing leaves to keep plants tidy. Clumps can be divided and replanted after flowering or in late Winter.
