Vibrant, plum-pink blooms with a rich, sweet fragrance make this rose a striking and elegant addition to any garden. Carried on long stems with lasting quality, the flowers are ideal for cutting and are set against large, light green foliage. With upright, medium growth and a classic, refined form, this rose was named by the RSPCA to honour the unconditional love and special friendship shared with animals, a meaningful choice for gardeners and pet lovers alike.
Plant in full sun in well-drained soil. Water newly planted roses daily during their first season. Once established (after a year), two deep soaks per week during warm weather will keep them thriving. Apply a soil wetter in spring and again in mid-summer to improve water penetration. Feed every four weeks from late April to early May with a quality rose fertiliser. Prune in winter to encourage healthy new growth, and follow with a lime sulphur spray to help prevent fungal disease. Apply mulch to retain moisture, keeping it clear of the base of the plant.
